The Western-style Main Lodge can accommodate up to 32 people in its 16 cozy guest rooms. Rooms feature adjoining bathrooms and ample closet space; water bottles to stay hydrated at 7,500 feet of elevation; and many also have access to private outdoor patios with spectacular views.
The Main Lodge boasts a beautiful Great Room with a signature centerpiece fireplace where guests can relax, play games or have a drink at Trinchera’s cocktail bar. The Lodge also features Wi-Fi, several conference rooms of varying sizes, a TV room, a second floor deck for peaceful stargazing and quiet reading rooms.
Meals are served in a large dining room or patio with panoramic views of Trinchera Peak. Cuisine typically ranges in style from American to Southwestern flair, with many ingredients grown in Trinchera’s kitchen garden or sourced on property, including ranch-produced honey, and local San Luis Valley farms.
In all seasons, guests will be drawn to Trinchera Ranch’s outdoor fireplaces and seating, with views of Trinchera Peak and the sounds of Trinchera Creek. Enjoy the scent of sage in the springtime, or elk bugling in the fall. Guests can also enjoy private areas from our creekside rooms, perfect for quiet reflection or an early morning coffee.
