Lodge Host & Bartender
Dates of Employment: April 2026 – October 2026
Employment Terms: Full-time, Seasonal, Temporary
Expected Hours: 40+ hours per week; weekends, holidays included
Pay: $20-25 per hour, based on experience, plus eligible to participate in gratuity pool
Job Purpose: Trinchera Ranch is looking for an engaging and enthusiastic individual to bartend as well as create a warm and engaging guest experience, fostering positive, enjoyable conversation with Ranch guests. This individual must be willing to learn and become knowledgeable regarding all Ranch activities and conservation practices to inform guests. This position responds to all guest inquiries and needs in a timely manner and in accordance with Ranch protocols.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities
✕- Create mixed drinks and seasonal beverages following recipes, and ability to formulate a cocktail recipe based on guests’ taste preferences and request.
- Learn, and be able to provide information about Ranch outdoor activities, Fort Garland/ surrounding area, conservation efforts, etc.
- Interact and engage with guests in the Lodge.
- Assist guests with activity planning, transportation, and any other needs during their stay.
- Respond to and meet guests’ requests in a pleasant and timely manner, and in accordance with Ranch protocols.
- Communicate with other departments as necessary.
- Use tools, materials, and other equipment properly and safely.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested by supervisor.
- Perform other Ranch duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
✕Knowledge: Knowledge of typical alcoholic beverage recipes, basic computer knowledge.
Skill: Use of bartending equipment, basic knife skills, and conversation/communication skills.
Ability: Exceptional communication skills, positive attitude.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Must be 21+; previous customer service, hospitality, and bartending experience required.
Working Conditions
✕Work Environment: The position requires communication with Company employees, customers, and other individuals. Work hours will vary depending upon the needs of the Company’s customers at any given time and will involve working long or non-traditional hours to fulfill Company and/or customer’ needs, projects, or special circumstances.
Physical Activities: Minimal physical activity is required. Must possess the ability to lift items up to 30 pounds frequently. This position requires standing, walking, stooping/bending, lifting, and repetitive motion.
